FAQs
Here’s answers to all those questions we know you want to ask.
Do I have to use my sessions as suggested by the package structure (i.e. 1 a week, etc)?
No. You are free to complete your sessions that you purchase however you wish. If you want to complete your sessions all in the first week of the month, you are welcome to do that. This may be particularly useful if you are going away during that month. All sessions however must be completed within that month and cannot be carried over.
I’ve finished all my sessions for this month and there is still a week to go. Can I purchase any more sessions?
Of course! We will be happy to see you commit to your health by doing that bit extra at Spring. You can purchase the sessions at $35 a session if you are on a 5 per month package or $30 if you are on a 10 per month package.
Christmas falls in this month and you are closed for a couple of weeks to spend time with your families. How does that affect my monthly payment?
All direct debits will be set up for the first of the month or the next business day. If Spring is only operational for 22 days in December, the sessions and the payment will be pro-rata the full rate. For those confused by the maths here we will charge you 22⁄31 x package rate and the number of sessions will be calculated by 22⁄31 x package number.
| Cost for December | = 22⁄31 x $220 | $156 |
| Number of Sessions | = 22⁄31 x 5 | 4 |
If you were on a 10 or unlimited package the calculations would be the same but with the appropriate cost and session number applied. The months mostly affected by this are December, January and March or April depending when Easter falls.
This same calculation will be applied if you join Spring in the middle of a month in order to sync your payments with our regular cycles.
What are the benefits of direct debit?
We all lead such busy lives today and I find many of you even struggle to wait to complete your payment transaction at reception. This way we can agree on a payment structure that works for you and you can set it up with us and leave the rest of the administration to Spring Pilates. If you need or want itemised receipts we are still very happy to supply these to you. They can be forwarded to you by email or printed and collected at reception when you are in for your next session.
Are there any fixed term contracts associated with my direct debit at Spring Pilates?
No. The direct debit arrangement is under no fixed term duration contract with Spring Pilates and may be adjusted to meet your changing needs. However all changes, adjustments or cancellations associated with the monthly direct debit transaction must be received in writing no less than 1 month before the change is to be implemented. Spring Pilates reserves the right to charge the client as per the agreed amount if insufficient notice is received.
Can I still pay face to face?
Yes, you can but there will be a small surcharge placed on your fees. The fees will still be due on the first of the month (or the next business day) and will incur a 2% surcharge.
Can I pay at a different frequency than once a month, say once a fortnight because that is my pay cycle?
Yes. We simply need to calculate the charge according to the weeks in the year instead of the months and adjust the cost and sessions accordingly. Please speak directly to management to arrange this setup.
Can I reschedule an appointment if I am unable to come?
Yes of course, but if you notify us less than 24 hours before an appointment time we will charge you for your session.Should you contact us during the 24 hours before your appointment to reschedule within that day, we may overlook the cancellation fee.
My partner and I are both coming to sessions at Spring Pilates. Can we share a package?
Yes. The unlimited package is effectively 6 sessions a week. You are welcome to purchase this and share it between you and your partner, giving you 3 sessions a week each maximum. For families that have more than 2 people attending Spring Pilates we will individually tailor a package to meet your needs.
I noticed there is a treadmill and exercise bike in the studio. Are all clients able to utilise these or are they restricted to exercise physiology and physiotherapy?
No, they are not restricted. All equipment in the studio is available to all clients. As a client at Spring you are encouraged to make the best of your time by utilising all the services & facilities we have on offer. If you wish to stretch or use the cardio based equipment you are welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes earlier or stay up to 15 minutes later for this purpose, with exception in the first and last sessions of the day. In the first morning session, time is available only after your session is finished and the last evening session prior to your session starting. If you would like cardio integrated into your Pilates session please don’t hesitate to ask your instructor. If you are using the studio to stretch please be respectful of the instructor & clients in that session and restrict your stretching to space on the mats and the ladder barrel.
If you are intending on using the treadmill or bike for more than 15 minutes please book your time on the booking sheet at reception just so we don’t ask you to hop off!
Can I have a home program to complement my regular sessions?
Yes. We are happy to write you up a stretch and core stability focussed home program to keep you going in between your sessions at Spring Pilates. These home programs do require review on a regular basis. If you have a program for home it is strongly recommended that you have this reviewed at no more than 8 week intervals. Home programs are organised through reception and are $80 a program.
